Galse decides to just spill it out. "I don't think I'm gonna be going with you. Talking swords and skeletons, demons, time travel potions and magic mirrors? Way more than I signed on for. This place seems.. nice. Nobody gets turned into a statue or eaten by monsters in the fog. I wish you succ...

I haven't had time to play the games yet, hurt my back shovelling snow and don't particularly like sitting up straight for that long at the moment. I'm gonna get to it though, I'm super looking forward to it.

Awesome. Any suggestions on what the party's missing, synergy-wise? Any kind of backgrounds or quirks that would be useful to you or for telling the story? Anything we should definitely avoid?

Galse will sit and listen (has he presumably has been doing) to Lynda's conversation with the innkeeper. He says nothing and seems to be deep in thought.

Was Galse around to hear that magic is illegal? If so, that would pretty much seal something that's been bouncing around his head for a long time: Retirement. Galse is a professional trail cook, his job was to keep this party fed and safe, a job he's done. Things seem stable enough here, there's no ...

Hero slices are special and hardcoded and can't be reorganized that way. If you want your boomerang to appear under your hero, you'll (probably?) have to parent it to one of the map layers (because heroes are drawn over the map layers), and then use put slice to put it where the hero slice is.

Galse is incredibly relieved to find the place hospitable! He places an order for food and drink for the group, paying with the gold he brought if it's customary to pay first. And then he makes his apologies to his host "I have to excuse myself for a second, I was so excited to see an inn I ra...

"I can handle that. Someone keep an eye out for me, ear open for any trouble. I'll try to signal if it's clear, and if it's dangerous I'll be running like hell." and with that, Galse goes to the inn to make first contact. Hopefully nobody will blow up any walls, or turn into a giant, ask ...

Galse waves even though he won't see it and turns back to the road. "Did that go well? I think that went pretty well. Let's find a place for you guys to set up camp and then I'll investigate that inn.". Feels good to take the lead. Feels good to not piss off everyone you come in contact w...

Galse crosses his arms, making no moves for his weapons. "Thanks for killing that boar, by the way. I didn't know it was there, could've gotten ugly. I owe you one."

Galse raises his hands in a concillatory gesture. "Slow down, nobody wants trouble. We all wanna be free. If you're done answering our questions, and you have no questions for us, let's both be on our seperate ways. Last one to freeedom' a rotten egg, huh?"

Looks pretty rad. Also, when writing the collision detection for Crusty's, I discovered that the 'slice collide' command makes it infinitely simpler than I thought it was going to be. That command (and its brother FindCollidingSlice) are two of my favorite things ever implemented. EDIT: And oh slim...
