Players in general have no problem with protagonists they disagree with, otherwise crime sandbox games wouldn't be enormously successful. Anyway here's some UFOs. Some ships parked in a lot in Beta City. The people of Walthros don't have cars as we know them and instead fly freely in these small, co...

It makes sense for the main hero to be the most expressive person in the room among his friends. In my opinion, a fleshed out personality to relate to is better than making the main character among a colorful ensemble never speak for fear he might inadvertently say something that someone in the aud...

Text box faces for Bob. He's fun to draw expressions for and will have more than most characters but everyone will have a handful.

Like Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy, Walthros: Renewal will feature a variety of difficulty levels that you can freely change as you play. Story Mode will restore your HP after each fight, while Fish Frenzy will make enemies much deadlier.

I've used it and I think it's excellent for map movement. Battles are a little clunky but not bad. I plan on promoting it as part of Walthros but I've got to implement it for all of my custom menus first to see how feasible that is.

I think it's funny that I had two games on there that I've since purged from here/my site.

When I was running HamsterSpeak the Top X list votes were almost always "Games I liked years ago plus one or two recent titles." Some people just submitted the same list every time.

Work in Progress: It's the World Map! The hero graphic becomes smaller and cutesier when you go between the overworld and towns/dungeons.

Streamlining the hero stats menu. Here are some non-spoiler changes in New Walthros vs Walthros Classic: -Bob no longer owns a house, has an apartment in Beta City -Bob's role is focused on healing instead of healer/summoner -Salom is recently divorced -Walrusman is now a surname -Dinosaur Super is ...

Inspired by all of the stuff in this thread, I've added my own OHR splash screen to the opening credits scene.

When an important character is introduced, the colors fade and a brief blurb appears. Here's a blurb about a blob.

Battle Test - Some unfinished graphics but I'm working on balancing the game's opening area. Here our two dudes fight the game's earliest enemy type.
