Those look great, NN. I was talking to Fenrir about this a few hours ago and your first example is basically what we discussed, only yours is brighter. Having a visual to look at makes it a lot easier to figure out what I'm going to do.

Surlaw asks about maptiles

Reposting this here because my own forum FAILED ME. So, I need some help. I'm satisfied with most of my maptiles in Surlaw Armageddon and my MYSTERY PROJECT, and the ones I'm unsatisfied with I know what needs to be changed and, for the most part, a general idea of how to improve it. What I can't fi...

OHR Game of the Year 2008

With 2008 over, it's time to look back at some of the games released and determine what we thought the best ones were. I've compiled a list using HamsterSpeak News sections from the last twelve months, but if I've missed any titles or if anything doesn't fit let me know. I skipped Blob Tale due to i...

Where's everyone gone? Did the OHR community turn into a leper colony? This has been a dismal couple of months for getting people to do anything OHR related. There are quite a few new people posting on CP right now that seem interested in making games, so maybe we'll see some of them submit somethi...

HamsterSpeak #22 Online

http://superwalrusland.com/ohr/issue22/cover.html

Surlaw's sick, tired, and grumpy as hell, but the first HamsterSpeak of 2009 is here on time! It's fairly small, but it does feature a really nice article on NPC creation by Pepsi Ranger.

Fenrir-Lunaris wrote:Comrade Bomb would be hilarious. Also, and I'm sure I've voiced this sentiment before, but I'd love to do Arfenhouse for April Fool's Day. In crayon, hopefully.
Haha, I didn't know about the crayon part. Yeah, we should definitely do that.

maybe open up the game to be done for voting? Here's the plan: READERS! Suggest Monsterology games here. Once I have enough decent suggestions I'll make a poll. You can elect more than one game. We tried this before and got a whopping three responses, I know we can do better than that. It should be...

I'd be happy to get an SA review from another perspective, on the condition that the reviewer is willing to READ THE DIALOGUE, whether they like it or not. I'd rather have someone hate it than just say "too long, didn't read," because god damn. I'm also voting for the HUD feature for the 5...

It seems the formatting was somehow lost when I resized the tables. I'll correct it shortly.

Edit: It should be fixed now.

Lanni's shadow needs to be redone, it's one of the least satisfactory graphics in the game. I'm thinking of redoing his walkabout too, the legs are awkward. The music probably works better if you have it low. It should be harsh, but not painful. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, hopefully the cabin c...

He's Hunter S. Thompson and it's an awesome job.

I had no time or money so I did a poor MGS3 Snake.

My pants and shirt don't even match and I had no time to hair up my face.
