Bumping this up to ask if anyone can give me any specific responses to any of the new content.

For anyone that's actually played this:

Was the squid a good surprise? I wanted something gigantic and horrifying after spending a whole game fighting small, humanoid enemies.

I found a couple missing wallmaps: One in the desert just east of the first cactus, and one in the jewel shop to the right of the counter. This update isn't too lengthy, but this is where I originally intended for the first demo to end. Yeah, it took me a long time to get here.

Hopefully in the next update most of the buildings in SF have something in them.
