It's an episode that has a really strong association with me for a really dumb reason: I watched it a long time ago while building a bookshelf. Now, I watch that episode and all I think about is construction. Mucho macho.

As for the sprite database, I'm completely for it. However, I'm just not too sure that it will bring in that many new people. There are already several sprite databases out there so I'm wondering how ours would be any different. It probably wouldn't be very different, but even some of the bad sprit...

I don't think a forum format is really the best bet for a sprite database. It should be something more easily searchable and sortable.

I personally really like Fenrir's idea here.

I don't imagine many people on SA would watch let's plays of games no one there has heard of unless the game was really damn weird and you did a hell of a job selling it. Buying banner ads there would get you more attention. Also I ran the OHR twitter account and no one had any interest in ever inte...

I'm fine with just promoting good games on other sites. Just make sure they're not so drenched in community in-jokes that it's pointless. I remember OHR House being promoted outside the community and having no idea why. Even Vikings is meant to be an ambassador game of sorts and it's drowning in com...

Revengeance demo is up on PSN/XBLA and it's incredibly good even if the objects you cut have zero weight to them. A chandelier you cut down should not slowly drift down and then bounce off the ground with no impact. Parrying is incredibly important, especially in the boss fight, and feels great. Fig...

Cool deal. I'm currently playing Anarchy Reigns, a brawler by Platinum Games that was supposed to be out like six months ago but Sega didn't have enough funds to print their discs. It's out now at $30. It's basically Power Stone meets a simplified Devil May Cry/Bayonetta (and she's in the game too.)...

We should really have a Currently Playing thread for people to rant about games they're playing at the moment. It's one of the only parts of my old dead forum I miss.
