We already had a thread for SFXR. I've made sound effects with it and used them in several games. I have it on my desktop right now.

It's a really nice program to have.

I like fixed-ness. I'm chaotic enough; I find the stability reassuring. As it is, I like removing the luck from stuff like damage done during attacks and things like that.

Ack, I went almost a week without playing any videogames! As a result, I'm actually falling behind in my project.

As a warning, like most Mario fan games, this includes a World 1-1 layout remake.

I like trying to design combat and magic systems, wherein individual spells remain distinct and useful when measured against each other, and where plain ol' attacking is useful for conserving energy.

For me, it's the design of spells, items, and characters' roles that is the fun part.

Oh, that's the "squadalah!" guy, right? His textbox does sound kind of "badly-translated English"-like, though. Of course, I guess that works in an 8-bit-looking game (and from what I know of the CD-i Zelda games, things tended to be worded pretty awkwardly in them, too.) Yes, a...

Did you do that Luigi yourself? Yes; he's based on the stance and proportions for the Mario Is Missing Luigi, but I drew him from scratch. He's only got three frames total for his walkabout and one for his battle graphics, but that's partly because Weegee is more often depicted sliding ominously th...

I voted for Surlaw Armageddon despite not having played any of these games.

I'm gonna nominate Okedoke.

I like the grass tile from Seiken Densetsu, and have copied it endlessly since reading a tutorial that said it was good (and disagreeing with those it said looked better). Still, as you're showing, the blank green can work.

And by 3D I also mean using polygons instead of sprites.

Since it took no money, I tried it. So far I like the visuals, the sound and the gameplay, and the story isn't killing my experience.

Not having made it very far in the game, I will say that what little I've played has been great. And, after looking at the download image on Castle Paradox, I totally want to catch a furry (makes me wish I'd named my Pikachu something a little diffferent, actually). Even though I don't think I'm gre...

Mine is a fangame of Mario is Missing and Internet memes. EDIT: This post, now with content! http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Ronin-Catholic/SS/fan0001.png Yeah, this is what the game looks like. But don't go expecting any of that fancy jump stuff that I was angry at Weegee's Mansion for not allowing ...

I would normally offer an opinion on Cave Story, despite having never played it. However, since I haven't heard of it before, I can't spend this time to complain about a game I haven't played, which is my usual style. Instead, I'll just say that I don't think the regular DS's gimmick was that great ...

Glad people seem to like my videogame character sprites. Speaking of those, if I wasn't so lazy there would've been at least a couple more of them--would anyone be interested in seeing a second set of them for the next issue? I'd be very much interested in that, partly because I just plain like vid...

I'm not sure if this one is horror so much as it is horrible; I can't tell if it's scary or just creepy. There once was a town near a forest. Well, to tell the truth straight, this has happened many times, but this story is only concerned with one town and one forest, and aside from their neighbori...

I really liked the videogame character graphics. I think I'll be using that Mario in a game I'm making.
