Weegee

This game is my love letter to all things I find good and fun on the internet...with the exception of furry content (but my other games more than make up for that).

With my new palette, the only thing that changes when I import stuff is that dark purple changes to orange, everything else becomes an equivalent (but less painful) color. That said, I've come to prefer using the engine's art program, and would use it to draw backdrops if that were possible. (Well, ...

The OHR's Normal/Blunt/Sharp damage calculations would be so much better implemented as elementals than as they are now. I'd like to do something more like what GURPS does for "Armor Divisors", where you set your attack's damage stat and defense stat, and the attack's armor divisor change...

Spawning/counterattacks are a logical reaction to elemental attacks. Hit that tree with a fireball? Sure, it took a lot of damage, but now it's on fire and can fire attack you back! Cast freeze on the water elemetnal? Now it's an ice elemental!

What I do is I draw things with the default 16 colors for MSPaint, then import them knowing that the colors will appear on the palette in this order: Black -> Dark Red -> Dark Green -> Dark Yellow -> Dark Purple -> Dark Cyan -> Light Gray -> Dark Gray -> Bright Red -> Bright Green -> Bright Yellow -...

Thor is also really easy to trick or deceive. He's a great source of comedy, so long as you aren't on the receiving end of his hammer or required to wrestle him.

A few years ago, someone on CP asked why there was a Yu-Gi-Oh card of a wolf named Fenrir. Same kind of mistake.

Gifts don't have to be Christmas gifts, and there's nothing preventing someone from celebrating both Christmas and Hanukkah. Not that what I've said contradicts what you've said.

Re: Gift

Gift giving is a common phenomenon that goes around the world. Yeah, it sure is that. Some people would appreciate the feelings behind the gift they have been given Sure, but some gifts are a bad idea to give. while on the other hand there are some people whom the monetary value of the gift is more...

Nathan, if you do a lousy enough job, I think I'm gonna have to recruit you for a similar prize in next year's Heart of the OHR contest. This is brilliant. Fear not, I won't be trying to do lousy...so it's almost guaranteed. Also, I may or may not decide to obey one or more Rules of the Internet. H...

I use MSPaint. I'm so used to working around its shortcomings that I can't comprehend other systems, aside from the OHR's built-in graphic editor, which has its own set of limitations.

Well, I know how I want my game to end, and there isn't really a plot per se, so I can finish it up in a day no matter how far I get before then. I just want it to be a little longer than it is now. And, as a new warning, I will be doing fan art of this contest's loser , so that's all the more reaso...
