I don't know how to change the PNGs into 16-color BMPs, or I'd do sprites outside of the editor more often. Anyone know programs that can do that? For the trainers, I was figuring Attack pose being used also for the second frame and the Cast/Use frame. For any I haven't already drawn differently, I ...

Here's the cheetah girl. I'll get to work on the stump, tree, ducks, and gym leaders later. Not today.

Here's one. I'm repurposing one of the monster sprites from Noodnik. http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Ronin-Catholic/Foryou/slime_h.bmp http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Ronin-Catholic/Foryou/slime_w.bmp It's a slime. I figure they'd have high defense and low HP. Attacks like Split-Splat, Prick and Backp...

I would prefer to make things like Bug and Dragon a style of drawing and giving stats to the creatures, rather than a weakness/resistance/attack types. Flying I do think is a meaningful type, in that it can mean "has power to fly/is in midair". But hey, it's not my game. http://www.majhost...

I can draw sprites for your mons. I like the challenge of drawing other peoples' ideas for things. My suggested way of doing enemy sprites would just be to take a pose from the hero sprites and paste it into Small or Medium enemy graphics, as appropriate. (My current experience with a project where ...

I'm pretty sure the thief has a mustache. That's generally a nod toward masculinity.

I still haven't reached where the old demo ended, but: -If you have a sorceress instead of a wizard, give the silver knife to her instead of to the thief - the thief will be taking most of his turns trying to pickpocket, but the sorceress will often be attacking anyway. (Her spells do only a little ...

I thought for sure I sent in the .zip file with all the elf and dwarf sprites, so they could be downloaded just like the human ones I sent in a few months back.

I nominate The Tower and Weegee again. If neither of them win this time, I'll give up.

You could give each class a portrait of its hero graphic with the classes name written above it.

What If I told you the deadline for submissions isn't till July 2012?
I'd say I'll join if I can finish two of my games long enough before that to contribute meaningfully to whoever I'm teamed up with.

Two of Weegee, Noodnik, Maces Wild, and Densetsu no Okami (reverse chronological of start time).

Well, I'm pretty biased, but I'd say it's the best OHR game I've ever played. The graphics all look right, there's reasons to choose different party members (though I have a hard time imagining someone taking a wizard over a sorceress or a bard over a thief), the songs fit the situations where they'...
