Those walkabouts made me think of NES Dragon Warrior. :) I was actually going for GameBoy Color Dragon Warrior. Either way, one of the nice little touches for that series that I liked about its walkabouts was that the characters were drawn with weapons at the ready but weren't always blatantly flip...

The only GameMaker I ever knew by that name was always free, with optional donations to the guy who made it, so far as I knew. Has something changed since 2005?

I have cousins from Georgia that pronounce it "pa-sketty" or "sketsy" depending on mood, and call hamburgers "hang-ga-bers" or "han-ga-bers".

If you feel a need to snap it, you're cooking in too small of a pot.

So the answer for me is I do it, but rarely and a little reluctantly.

It was probably cut to make room for commercial breaks, since I grew up on a VHS recording of a TV broadcast. Same thing with Mickey and the Beanstalk and Dumbo.
