Yeah, IVs and breeding (especially finding the exact nature you need) can take forever. EV training is kinda fun, if repetitive. Pokemon would be so much better if everything was faster...

Sane people only use simulators to play online (or hack with Pokesav). Making a viable competitive team on the cart is taxing to say the least--it can take months.

But Alakazam is one of the best Pokémon in the series. (And always has been)

The ending made me angry at first, but two days later I realized it was essentially a meta joke.

Didn't make me emotional, really. Honestly I think Earthbound's ending is more powerful, though Mother 3's is clever too.

Protip: Items kick slime in this game (both offensive and healing items), which makes Boney great since he has the highest speed. He isn't a filler character--he's a necessary member of the team. I got the hang of the combos by the end of the game. Averaged 10-12 in most battles after a while.

Guess I should clarify: You don't HAVE to have them in order, but it will affect their order on the list. I'd still advise putting them into "tiers" since I'd prefer taking placing into account; 3 or 4 points of difference isn't major anyway.
