For the first Round (NU), these are some Pokémon I would recommend looking at just to get started. It's by no means comprehensive and generally consists of Pokémon that I like using. Feel free to recommend others. Sweepers / Attackers These are good general choices for attacking. Fairly easy to set ...

More progress on Duck today. Got the world map and the Bad Ending in. I'll certainly have a complete product by the end of the contest.

Battles will take place whenever convenient for the players until the Round is over.

If you meant "when does this start," I'm shooting for the first week in May, after the RGC.

Slime Salad ShoddyBattle Tournament I - Signups

Slime Salad ShoddyBattle Tournament I - Signups Mogri and I have corresponded about this, and are interested in hosting a Pokémon (Generation IV) tournament via Shoddy Battle. In case you are not aware of Shoddy Battle, it is a free online Pokémon Team Builder and battle simulator that acts similarl...

I'm sure everyone's seen this comic by now, but I'm posting it anyway: http://img408.imageshack.us/img408/3396/nuzlocke1.jpg http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/1219/nuzlocke2.jpg http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/1554/nuzlocke3.jpg http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/6214/nuzlocke4.jpg http://img695...

Beats me! I've had the same problem as well. Luckily I've made it past the point where I need Voltorb Flip.

The Voltorb Flip helpers don't even work for me. I've found just using logic to take less time.

If anyone wants to trade/battle, let me know when. I'm open to most times of day since I work from home, heh.

I have Heart Gold, and (I THINK) all of the Soul Silver exclusives I'm aware of. I just beat the Elite Four, and I have 135 caught. If you need me to breed anything you want for keeps, let me know. If you happened to start with Totodile, I do not have one of them. None of the trainers in the game so...

You have to get someone's friend code to battle or trade with him. It has to be written on your Pal Pad, which is a key item you may or may not have yet. I think you have to at least have the Zephyr Badge. Also, if you can't get to the bottom floor of the Pokemon Center, you can't battle over Wi-Fi ...

Well, yes, there is some truth to that unfortunately. I was fortunate enough to have great teachers growing up, but I know firsthand how awful some can be, even at the college level. The motivation at college level, though, is such that one might learn something even if the teacher sucks. Learning d...

I learned a lot about US geography from playing Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego? as a kid. My first exposure to the magical world of multiplication came from Midnight Rescue -- the first time the robots started giving me multiplication problems, I had no idea what to do. I had a little breakdow...

Glad you disagree; the whole point of criticism is to get both sides thinking about an argument. I'm not against games being memory tools, but one of the points I might not have gone in to deeply enough was that flash cards and worksheets can accomplish the same things as Math Blaster or Carmen Sand...

I made a great start tonight. I think this game will teach OHRers everywhere the true value of poultry. http://www.jsh.illuminative.org/duck1.png http://www.jsh.illuminative.org/duck2.png Also, this game will have multiple endings. And by that I mean, the content is mainly the endings. Speculate!
