Audio #2 - Okedoke PART ONE Audio #2 - Okedoke PART TWO I will be recording Okedoke in several parts (probably the other longer games too). Here is the first one. Again I want to stress that this audio is intended largely for the developers and not other listeners. You would have to be really bored...

Audio #1 - Chronoboy Adventures

Started off on this one, and even in the latest stable OHR I cannot get very far because of bugs. Sorry about the limited commentary, Chronoboy.

I will try to play through at least one of these a day (focusing on the longer ones on the weekend) and I will post comments in this thread. I've decided not to publish my scores, though. I plan to record audio commentary, but I won't edit any of it. I'll just post the raw footage for the creators. ...

The version of Motrya that is currently up is good to go for the end of the contest. I won't update the file until the 25% version, likely.

Motrya 50% Version Development Journal

Hey everyone... Well, I made the first major milestone in development on Part II. I know I just released the 24.5% demo last week, but I have been hard at work on this at the same time, and these threads have been helpful for me when it comes to reflection. Tonight, I finished the first draft of Cha...

Slight mishap in the chat this morning, so I would like to once again stress that this channel is meant to be a friendly, positive environment. Violators can and will be ban-hammered at any of the moderators' wills.

This looks like a good place to ask questions. I'm a movie fan who never touched the books, I hope ya'll don't mind, and I have a few questions regarding the latest film: 1) What is that curious mirror shard Harry carries with him? 2) What, and where, is the resurrection stone? 3) Where did the clo...

Also, I should answer my own question:
I caved in and bought a guide (I was 12 or 13 at the time). Some of the puzzles seem cool when you know how they work, but I have no clue how anyone ever would have figured some of them out.

I've never tried that, and I haven't played Motrya yet, so I don't know how. I'll give it some experementing. You actually won't be able to tell from playing it, but basically the enemy stats are a great place to store numbers that you might want to use in scripting since they can effectively funct...

Mystic wrote:In your map data, you can do instead-of-battle scripts.

You can even use the formation information to store your own battle stuff.
You can also store data in the enemy stats. I did this for the card game in Motrya, but I imagine you could expand it to a traditional RPG battle system too.

My turn! -I've never finished Vikings of Midgard and probably never will. After about halfway through, I just got bored and uninterested, and now, every time I restart, I just quit. It's developing into an unexplanable hate for the game. -I love contests. Every time somebody throws up a contest, I ...

SDHawk has found a lot of typos today that people somehow missed... I've uploaded some minor fixes and will probably continue to do so.
