So far the game is OK but it could really use an editor to trim/strengthen the dialogue and some animation during moments when the characters are talking to each other. No, Giga Drain is awful. Leech Seed and Leftovers recover enough; Sceptile needs damage more than recovery.

Sub/Leech Seed/Leaf Blade/(Probably Hidden Power) is the way to go

Meganium definitely sucks, but Sceptile is great. He's one of the best Subseeders in the game (Substitute + Leech Seed) because of his speed. A little lacking in damage, but he's still pretty great.

Yeah, bug itself is a pretty cool element. It just tends to get paired with the wrong element or horrible base stats.

Metagross isn't uber, but he happens to be very effective against a lot of legendaries.
