HamsterSpeak doesn't have arrays, (true) strings, classes, etc, because there is only one data type: 32 bit ints. NPCs, slices, items, etc, are all referred to using either ID numbers as defined in Custom, or handles (integers referring to a specific instance of something). We do have "strings...

Familiarizing yourself with the dictionary is a pretty good way to go. It has categories on strings, variables, and the likes. Variables work generally the same way, but strings are approached pretty differently. Also arrays don't even have a syntax so I guess that's different. Oh and I assume you h...

I'm running on a 1920x1080 OSX monitor. I can test some things with it and let you know what works and what doesn't, if that would help you at all.

Spent way too much time on this :v: As animation tends to go. Quite impressive though, especially with the dithering on her skirt. It's just really pleasing to watch. Although there is a frame right before she shoots where the white dot on her left shoe disappears. Don't know if that was intentional.

Resolution No-Nos

When customizing the resolution of a game, are there any guidelines to what dimensions should be used and which should be avoided? I'm not too familiar with various screen resolutions among PC users, so I don't know if there is a "safe zone" of any kind for a game to not get cut off. And f...

TMC said this is still going on, so I'll put in some stuff to hopefully give some more to work with. I'll likely never finish this game, so I'll put its maptiles here.

EDIT: And here's some others. This isn't too much right?

Do you want the battle system to function like Baconthulu as well or use battle formations that are activated by NPCs? I haven't dealt with procedurally generating maps enough to help you there, but I feel you could add in the random generation later. In the meantime you could make all of the maps b...

One of the hardest things to make is battle backgrounds. Backgrounds for generic settings like forest, plains, water, cave, indoors, the schoolyard? Or you could draw a super ambiguous battle background that could serve as a one-size-fits-all for any battle situation.

Heyyyy music. I don't know if any of you ever played Runescape, but it's got some chill music. The old stuff is in midi files too, which is good for OHR games, so even if you haven't played the games and you want a new library of tracks to choose from, you can search them up. Because who cares about...

What is the deadline for this? I still want to fix some things in Sprout and compose some original music for it, but if I can do that in time, I would love to nominate it for the bundle. Although, if you feel it does not represent the OHR well enough to justify being a part then I understand.
