Let the games begin! You may now officially start making your one-room games. And please, post your progress and ideas in this thread, if you don't mind sharing them! I'll start off.

Here's a little sneak peek at what I'm working on.

If you set "setup hero sprites" to be activated by an NPC or menu item or something, you should be able to do that. Although to change which sprites are loaded, you'd probably have to give "setup hero sprites" two arguments that are then passed into "load walkabout sprite(ar...

Hi!! <3<3<3 First of all, using the walktall script is all but deprecated at this point, since in the recent nightly builds, you can create walkabouts (and other sprite types) of any size. It sounds like you'll need to use load walkabout sprite() two separate times and call set parent() on each one ...

Yeah, Arc War was the first game I played, and I have a bunch of footage to edit into a video for it. I'm not a fantastic commentator or editor, but I'm looking forward to putting it all together. I'm gonna try to do it justice. So much work was put into this game and I don't think it should be igno...

Got mine. Some good looking graphic novels, a great Bowie album, a couple choose your own adventure books (my partner was very excited about those. She read them when she was a kid and wanted me to tell everyone she was excited), the invaluable Potato Lover's Cookbook, and some other... Items. There...

I think the white skin and blue hair more immediately and naturally communicates that it is a robot and not a human. Plus, it reminds me of Jenny from My Life As a Teenage Robot.

EDIT: the cheerful expression reads more like a trainer character in a game.

I did some really basic and buggy syntax highlighting for hspeak using Brackets . The language support extensions require using and understanding CodeMirror , which is a JavaScript-based mode for parsing text. In theory, Brackets can also support auto-completion, error detecting, and other fancy fea...

If you ever need general help with translating text, plenty of people around will be able to give feedback on word choice and stuff like that. There are some other German-speakers around here somewhere, but I'm not sure how frequently they show up... I wish I had kept up with learning German. I stud...

I'm in the midst of finals week, so my schedule's a little wild right now. I'll definitely get it done in time, but I have no certainty when exactly.
