On my new game log site thing, I have mentioned that my game is being made with OHRRPGCE. Hopefully if I get some followers and traffic, people will get interested and check it out. I've also tried to get a few friends interested but to no avail. I may still have one buddy of mine that may consider ...

I started a website/blog thing for my game!

As I mentioned in a thread the other night, I have been working on making a site to log my game making progress as well as progress with other art, electronics, and music projects. I have just put the finishing touches on it this morning and think it looks complete enough to share with everyone now....

You should see the back sides of all my university notes. It's a scribble bonanza! Hundreds upon hundreds of scribbles haha.

How much of that scribble is actually functional? Like this Shadow Complex map. Well not too much actually. It's more or less going to be in the backdrop of my map to make the player feel the vastness of the floating temple/city. For the first chapter of the game you will only really touch the lowe...

To answer you both, it's essentially a gigantic floating temple which long long ago was forced to take to the skies as the world was destroyed by monsters. Over a great deal of time the people of the temple have expanded their race and built a great city surrounding the temple. To gather building ma...

sheam, your style is inspiring. Keep up that random nonsense! If you're in to random nonsense then you'd like my blog. I just started it to keep progress of my game, of my art, etc... It's still under development so some of the links might be blank. I wasn't planning on telling people about it just...

I was about to say almost the same thing. Being a jerk is a great thing in any field of work that can be critiqued. I actually find there isn't enough people being jerks towards my art/game posts. It really isn't any help to me if someone says my stuffs neat or looks good. I'm still waiting for some...

Not to mention... if you're not doing the art, and you're not doing the programming, what exactly are you doing? Haha, my thoughts exactly. You really should tough out the tilesets and character sprites. It's really not all that hard. Even if you are very unskilled and make something that looks sup...

Forget these hippies and their "Conscience be your guide" bullcrap. You're gonna want to lock that thing up pretty tight. Best way to do it would be old school "Flip your manual to page 47, line 4, word 3 and put that word here, yo!" style. Shouldn't be hard to do with strings, ...

Today and yesterday I've been working on a game called Krunkle Donger, it was suggested by Spoonweaver on IRC. All the maps have to be one screen size, every screen has to be important and there shall be a cowboy in it (wich is the most difficult, i think). http://up.picr.de/17678152he.jpg It's an ...

I switched over to drawing my maps in photoshop. So far this is what I've been working on. Best part is it only took about 20 minutes and looks much better than what I was previously doing. I'll continue working on it more when I get a chance next weekend. http://i931.photobucket.com/albums/ad151/sh...
