So, it's been a while since I've posted anything about Entrepreneur: The Beginning , probably because it's been a while since I've really worked on it, and I figure that now that summer is here, it's a good time to post some new info on upcoming additions. One of the things I've been doing behind th...

Yeah, I'll be updating that author page with the next ebook most likely. I do have another on the line that I hope to release this weekend. I may wait to announce it until I know all of the available retailers have their copies, though. Should be within the week. It will also be short and free. Agai...

Here's Where We Hype Other Stuff We Made

Made an awesome game lately? Tell us about it in the Game Discussion Forum. Made something else cool that you want others to see, read, listen to, or observe? Then tell us about it here. I'll start. Last week I posted the ebook version of a short story I wrote in 2006 called "Shell Out" (I...

I agree with Pepsi Ranger, actually. I decided to tag stuff exploration rather than exploregasm because I felt it wasn't the same thing: there are pure exploration games like T4R4D1DDL3 and Look But Don't Touch (which fit the typical definitions of "exploration game"), and then there are ...

Just to give you guys a heads up, this game is one of the most impressive things I've played on the OHR (so far). I can't come up with anything to complain about. You really should play this. Like, now.

"exploregasm" was rolled into exploration . (In fairness, exploregasm came first.) Dang, and I thought my word did a better job explaining what it actually is (part of the thrill is in exploration, or the thrill of exploration, versus the fact that you simply can explore). Oh well. "...

Awesome. Giz, you're my hero. I knew I could count on you. Hopefully we can count on your Internet. And if Snodrvr's around, see if he wants back in.

Anyone else?

The developers announced that Version 1.3 is coming June 30th (they didn't specify year, which seems to be a running joke on the dedicated forum for some reason). Shall we discuss the possibility of returning to this crazy world of Terraria sometime in July?

No, I was asking for one thing, and your first answer was what I needed to know. Thanks. The yellow-to-tan was an example of why I would want to change the palettes, but also why I don't want to lose the colors already established in the game. It sounds to me, though, that CHGPAL doesn't consider de...

Does anyone know of a decent way to convert an old palette to a new one if, say, the old palette uses 16-color ramps and the new one uses 4 or 8 (or whatever)? As much as I'd like to update my old game from the OHR's original palette to one of the newer, more color-diverse ones, my concern is often ...

James, that palette looks next to perfect. Seems to have all of the important colors in one convenient place. Looks like the kind of palette I wish I had been using since Day 1.

Moral of the story: Downloaded!

May 16, 2015: So, that concludes our catch-up session. Everything from here on out should be current news. And to celebrate 15 years of (slow, slow, slow) progress, I'm posting the first 400 weeks of information from the official progress report (with links to the playtest file redacted for now) fo...

This is my one-stop resource for various journals, documents, and whatnot for my OHR games. Anyone who just wants to play a game should move on from here, but anyone looking for extensive information too detailed for a forum post, or materials that go beyond the game itself, check here. Contents so ...
