The white border is confirmed. It goes away after you resize to a higher resolution than 320x200.

Hmm, it's been two years since I've posted in this thread. In that time, Photobucket had severed the links to all of my promo pictures...jerks...but James has managed to make one of my gameplay goals much, much easier to handle, and yesterday I finally got to put that gameplay goal to the test. And ...

I've been trying out the upcoming mouse features found in the SPAM folder and adapting my park building game to the move hero with mouse-click command, which I have to say works really well, minus the occasional one-tile overshot that may or may not be the fault of my scripting, and has a pretty rob...

It's September. How are we doing?

Not sure if any of you have noticed, but mouse-clicks are becoming more user-friendly in the OHR if you know how to access mouse functionality. FYI.

I messed with Dwimmercrafty a bit the other night. I'm sure I haven't made the best of every feature yet, but I definitely like the ability to select NPCs directly from the map. That'll save so much time. The CUSTOM resizing is awesome, especially in the slice collections screen, as I can now see th...

envirospasticum - Not a real word (right now), but I use it in my A Modern-day Fantasy novels (aka, the Powerstick Man novels) as the name for a martial art involving spoons.

I also like the hybrid word "ejectaplenty" and the real (?) word "etheldreme." Seconded.

I've been spending a lot of time reworking the scripting on this game, and I'm just about finished updating my customer scripts. I still have to turn various action scripts into templates, but the process is moving at a steady clip. I expect to have all of the handcrafted elements for customer scrip...

And, as I see that Pepsi nominated Slimes! with the addition of a comment I'd like to point out that I renamed Slimes! to Slimeomancy for this very reason. Slimes! was a very over used game name. Oops, yeah, I saw that shortly after I posted the nominations, and then forgot to go back and change it...

Agreed. This is a great idea. I'm going to sketch my list, add to it, revise it, change it, and move things around as I see fit. So, check this post often to see if your game has been added or taken away! Not going to super-nominate yet. Will do that after I finish my working list, and after I make ...

Hmm, basing the deadline on the second-to-last entry release is not a bad idea actually. However, life happens, and not everyone who "disappears" has actually abandoned their work, and I wouldn't want someone to miss out because they had an Internet failure for the month between the second...

Hey guys, When I started this thread, I had a great idea for an adventure contest with an ambiguous deadline in place, ambiguous meaning nothing concrete on the schedule. I really couldn't think of a proper end time at the time. But now, I've given it plenty of thought, and I have the perfect deadli...

I'll have to, yeah. Though, I don't think that game will turn out much of a following, or be remembered by the time I finish this one.

What really gets me is the part about defeating six bosses. That's how many I have planned for mine!!!

Sigh.

So, I've tabled my journal documentation efforts a bit this week (the thing I've been doing to give myself some sense of accountability and direction on this mad cow of a project) to work on script consolidation. I have to say, my efforts are going pretty well. I've been spending the last few design...
