I'm not too familiar with how Fire Emblem or FF Tactics work. I'd defer your question to those who've played either and know this contest. Probably?

Just a friendly reminder that the Heart of the OHR window is opening in about two weeks. If any of you would like to contribute to the prize pool this year, please let me know what you'd like to contribute, which of the top performers you'd like to reward, and about when you'd like to deliver on you...

I think it would make sense to feature your own major titles to show a production consistency between each game. That way, potential users could get in the mindset of creating brands, or at least multiple titles, through the use of the engine. Basically, it would get people to think in the long-term...

@Pepsi: I'm always down to try new styles. If you give me a track you want with when it plays during gameplay, what specific emotion/aesthetic you want it to evoke, and any other bits you know about it (eg. Instrumentation, tempo, key, etc.), I can whip up a demo. It typically doesn't take me longe...

This sounds nice. I'm typically a fan of downbeat, and this track does everything I want after a tough day. Good stuff. I'm generally on the lookout for musical contributors, though I'd want a style that matches the game's genre. Right now, I'm focused on Entrepreneur: The Beginning and fairly happy...

Right, the D-Pad. I knew that. Okay, so I guess I don't use my controller enough to realize that it works exactly as Wobbler's works. I also have a Logitech controller, though I think mine is modeled after the XBox. When I hit "Mode," I can use the d-pad instead of the analog, though it wo...

Would that include cross-pad / cross-button / whatever the industry is calling that old Nintendo movement control button support? I'd love to play OHR games as I would play them on a Nintendo or Super Nintendo (not just with the joystick). It bothers me that the cross-pad isn't recognized as a keypr...

Funny, last night I did the exact same thing with drips and two sets of animation to simulate it. In a pseudo-8-bit game no less. The difference is that mine doesn't end up in a puddle. The double animation for me simply extends the drip (from air-conditioner window units) an extra tile before evapo...

Awesome possum with a side of Bob Ross...um... Hey, would it be possible to extend the browser, or have a custom selection option, to show two or even three lines of a text box for those who isolate character names or item names for description from the body text? I could see where the browser would...

So, just a quick update, as four months have gone by since the last one: Progress on the scripting update is coming along really well. A few nights ago, I imported the template for Hybrid City trashcans that simplifies the updating process to great success. In just a few lines, I was able to change ...

This is a small thing, but I really like the fact that you can jump off the ladders instead of having to climb down to the foundation's level. The little things make the big things better. That's what she s--never mind.

You may want to test it. As far as I can tell, full screen is affected by those percentages when you're working with resolutions that are different from 320x200. That's how it appears to me. You can still see the whole screen; nothing is cut off. But, it does look more pressed together than the wind...

Something like that, yeah. If you change the resolution to something like 448x280, which incrementally scales the standard 320x200 resolution using the same basic ratio, the game doesn't display full screen with the same general proportions as that of the standard 320x200. Instead, it looks stretche...

People want it. Hands raised. But I also think there are better things to prioritize, like making different resolutions work in full screen without warping the image, or having more customizable text and text boxes, including sizes of each, and fonts pulled from the system, for example, so.... It sh...
