"Well, that's that taken care of. I want to press on to see what's behind that other door, but if the rest of you would rather not, I will understand. I should be able to other door without any problems by running across the walls, but honestly I would rather not head in alone in case there is...

"Here, let me see to him. Rachelle, if you could keep an eye out for that thing. If it appears, alert me and I will attempt to blast it out of existence." Kalar moves to Voulton and begins to use his glove to heal him. It will take a while, but it should be able to restore him to full fig...

Kalar has the slippers of spiderclimb in Bill's saddlebags. He could walk down there to begin healing Voulton up and then tie the rope around him. Of course, while having aforementioned safety rope on as well, heh. However, Rob might be a better candidate as he has more powerful healing spells than ...

Holy crap that's a lot of damage. Is Voulton in danger of dying right now? Or is he regenerating enough that he's not going to die right away? The one time Bridge of Sound or Air Walk would have been useful, and I didn't prepare them for the day =p And unfortunately no cure critical wounds at the mo...

"That should do it. It might still be dangerous for me to enter, what with that symbol there. I'll have my minions carry valuables back to the wagon, but I would appreciate it if the rest of you were to explore the room as well. Skeletal minions aren't exactly the smartest, and sapient eyes mi...

"Right, that didn't work. Let me try something else." Kalar holds out his holy symbol again, focusing even more divine energy into it. He strains with the effort, and then releases the power into the room, forcing the surrounding walls to shape themselves together, forming a new partially...

"Right, let me try something."

Kalar holds out his holy symbol, gathering divine energy into it. He then sends out a blast of power, attempting to dispel whatever magic is in the room.

"Not that I know of. As far as we saw, it was just ruins. What do you see on the ceiling? Any markings, inscriptions, or similar?"

"Well, no, it's not powered by necromancy so it should work fine there. However, there might still be a chance that it might attempt to possess the user. I've never actually released my hold on it at any time, as it's been in my glove of storing when not in use, so I am not sure if it attempts...

"Look around, see if you can spot anything that looks like a holy symbol or something similar. The effect might be tied to that." Kalar turns to Rob and says, "Do you still have those glasses that can detect magic? She might be able to use them to look around the area for whatever mi...

"Good luck. We'll be ready to respond if anything attacks. Be on the lookout for anything that looks magical, it's possible that he's tied the effect to some sort of artifact or relic in the room."

Actually been thinking about how to get rid of Vecna's shrine if there is one. Maybe have Kalar's skellies swarm it and then attempt to dismantle? Heh, who knows. If it's Levistus' though, that might be more doable. Still dangerous though.

Oh, hang on, does that mean that the shrine Kalar found earlier was to Levistus as well and not to Vecna?

"No, no rope on me unfortunately. But that is a good idea. I'll send one of my skeletons back for rope."

Kalar does just that.
