Kalar stands near the entrance, behind the more capable melee fighters, but still in a position to pitch in should the need arise. He'll conserve his spells for now. He would rather have a shield if he's to enter into melee, but that's a matter he'll have to resolve later on. Attack: +11/+7/+2 Dama...

"Invisible, but he still had a body that could be sensed. If we turn into mist, we should be indistinguishable from the surrounding smoke. That is, of course, unless they have some means to discern the difference between us and regular smoke."

True, but with all of the fire and smoke in the room, and with the white robes I purchased for all of us, there's a significant chance that it won't notice us." Kalar then looks at the remaining Inquisitors. "Especially if it were to be distracted by something. Were that the case, then we...

"If there's even a tiny crack or opening on the other side, we can turn into mist and bypass the bugs and whatever is in there. The only problem with that is we don't know what's on the other side."

With no indication that anything is coming through the other door, Kalar folds the hole back up and stores it away. He does the same with the caltrops he scattered. Hrulgin's destruction was unfortunate, but that is something to be amended later on. For now, he will keep his eyes open, ready to str...

"Well, if it's a room of fire..."

Kalar holds up his holy symbol and summons a huge fire elemental into the room with the swarm. At the very least, it will thin the herd, so to speak.

"Very well."

Kalar nods to Hrulgin, signaling that he should go on ahead. Hrulgin then performs some magic of his own, turning himself invisible and heading into the room to scout ahead.

Just checking, it's Baalzebul that's trapped here? Or a high general of Baalzebul?

Without a shield to use, Kalar instead stands ready to defend himself with a blade instead. He manifests the sword, holding it in two hands and uses it to search the area for traps. He decides to throw in a few traps of his own while he's at it. He grabs an item from his pack and throws it in front...

Full undead leadership? So:

27 skellies/zombies
3 ghouls
1 level 3 (shadows are 3 HD, but might not be appropriate?)
1 level 4 (a ghast or a wight maybe? Both are 4 HD but 3 CR.)

Are there any animate-able corpses around? Also, other than the two Jims and Hrulgin, what minions does Kalar have left? Oh, and the goats are all gone?

"To my knowledge, Baalzebul has a high general here, trapped within the curse. Breaking the curse frees the general as well, which is why that general must be destroyed." He turns to Azderac and says, "From what you remember, how much of this place could be bypassed if we were able t...

Heh, well yeah, if the Blood War was spilling into this place, Kalar would feel duty-bound to make that his priority.

Kalar will fly Hrulgin and the ghouls one by one, or two by two, whatever he can manage, over the magma. Once inside, he'll have the two remaining Jims heal the ghouls. He then listens to the conversation before saying: "How much time do we have? Because if we are to venture further into this ...
