All of your maps on their own look quite impressive. I'm starting to think that over the course of the game they might get a bit too "samey." Why not tint the stone in one blue? or give one a layer of slime on the walls? Fear not, most of these look samey because the last few have all bee...

Though it's possible to get the life fuel scroll without it, but it's tricky. Haven't been able to get it though, so wouldn't really be able to comment on its use. I've noticed a problem with the flame wave scroll though, sometimes it doesn't hit things that are right in front of you. I'm not sure i...

I'm not sure about the first part, but for the second, I'd suggest using zones instead of passability maps. That way you can select specifically what areas will block vision. And it's not too difficult to shift the code from checking for passability to checking for zones.

If you're really intent on that effect, you might want to get in touch with some of the people who have made custom battle engines. Though if you're new to scripting, it's probably not a good idea to attempt it until you've worked with scripting for a bit to familiarize yourself. Alternatively, you ...

You called the script to enlarge the sprites, that gives you the big walkabouts. After changing one of the sprites, call the script again to change that sprite as well.

Ooh! That would look cool!!
But not doable without scripting your own engine unfortunately. Though I could be wrong, there might be a really clever and cunning way to go about it. But I can't think of one.

So this is what I accomplished during the weekend. http://i1171.photobucket.com/albums/r552/ld2i/nce001_zpsa8391cf6.png Looks more like a rotting man than a ghoul. I sorta like the older one, kinda creepier, and slightly more ghoulish. I suppose it could also be considered a melting man. I actually ...

In what way do you want to change it? Color's pretty much the only thing you can change as Spar said. And Meow's right that hiding it is the only other option. The only other way I can think of would be to create a custom engine, but that's a bit much for just changing the appearance of the health b...

We've still got them here. And when I left the KSA in the early 2000s they still had them there.

Start of August perhaps? That'll give people time to conceptualize. Unless of course that's against the rules, in which case how about starting it next week?

Here you go.

And VampiDucki, those are some amazing graphics. Can't wait to see that in action.
