Well, Kalar's stats were buffed up quite a bit with the werewolf thing. His non-werewolf stats were a lot lower. As for compulsions, I think that yeah, that would be limited to Geas. And I think curses are permanent, I don't know of a mechanic to make them temporary. However, I could prolly be wrong...
