Lynda's relieved she didn't catch fire. She was about to tell Kalar when she realized no words were coming out.

"Agh! Dammit! I'm struck dumb!" She thought. "Why did the amulet fail me?"

Lynda frantically gestures to Kalar, trying to indicate she cannot speak.

Lynda decides that she'll follow Kalar's orders. She takes the shield, and gets ready to cross with him.

"At your mark." She says.

Although she has somewhat of an uneasy feeling, she wants to encounter these bizarre new characters.

Lynda carefully shuts the door, and heads back out to the main room. She hears Tammy's 'compliment'. She thinks that it was sarcasm, but will treat it as a compliment anyways.
