Ahoy! Man, The Hamster Wheel has been kicking my butt recently, taking all of my free time. But, I am plugging right away on it in PHP, and things are beginning to look great. Thanks to several folks (and especially PR), I have found many of the games that I was looking for on the list. However, the...

I haven't decided yet. I didn't have this problem last year, so it is a bit new to me. Disqualifying would be a bit much I'm sure, so I am thinking about a flat point penalty if one fails to vote. That way, your game can still be in the running. I think that is about the only way to make it fair for...

I plan to check it out, buddy, but I just don't have the free time to do so right now. I do plan on playing through it at some point and getting back with you on my thoughts and/or writing a review of it for Hamsterspeak. For what its worth, besides you, Newbie, Rya, and a few tidbits from JSH, I re...

I have received a decent amount of votes so far, but we need more. Remember, if you submitted a game for voting then you MUST vote yourself and not vote for your own game . Just a reminder, those who have not voted yet: Camdog Ronin Catholic Momoka James Paige RMZ Pepsi Ranger Blue Train Keep those ...

The Hamster Wheel
To those that care or are curious, The Hamster Wheel has been and will be done for probably a couple of weeks. The content that is up thus far will still be accessible, but don't expect any updates for a few weeks. I decided that doing all of the work by hand would probably end up being to much for ...

Review: Entrepreneur: The Beginning
Entrepreneur is, you guessed, a business simulator for the OHRRPGCE. Besides a few titles, there are not many simulation games out there. With that being said, I think that Pepsi Ranger set the bar high with this one, even if you spend the first half of your game time figuring out just how the crap ...

Review: Indigo
Indigo is another game that joins the recent platforming craze within the community. Despite a few flaws, I think it could shape up to be a pretty nice game with a few updates. Basically, our unnamed hero traverses the purple landscape and defeats foes by using a Bioshock-like telekinesis ability th...

Review: The Wizard, The Thief, and the Lich
The Wizard, The Thief, and the Lich is nothing more than an outline of a game. Momoka warns that the game is very incomplete, as he got started on it a day before the contest was over. For now, there is a short amount of dialogue, some combat, and place holding graphics. Honestly, there's not enough...

Review: Light Fight
Light Fight is a short game featuring a neon man from the future who has come back to the past to destroy 80's music and turn people into neon lights. Don't be fooled though, for there are not any actual people in the game besides the Chuck Norris photo and reference (which was tasteful for a Norris...
