Well crap, guess I'm out of luck then. Last time I compiled the script was back in '07. Thanks for the help anyways.

Ohhohoho It hasn't even been a week, and there's already a massive need for firmware updates. All I have to say about this is, I'm glad I didn't rush to buy one. I think the waiting game will be the best game to play for now. I've had a 3DS since launch, and haven't had a single crash as of yet. I ...

Great issue, glad to see that contributions got a second wind.

Also, I'm extremely surprised that some people actually voted on Duck Duck for game of the year. You have my thanks, whoever you are.

Recovering Lost .hs File

I'm considering doing some more work on a game of mine, but it wouldn't be possible unless I could somehow recover the script file from it. The original script file is long gone and I was curious if there was a way to extract it from the RPG file or something like that.

Any help is appreciated.

Solid issue; loved the cover and I think the Duck Duck review was great and more than fair. You (Surlaw) pointed out some things I definitely plan to implement now that I have more than just my perspective on the game. I suppose a little explanation or hint about how to kill the boss would not be to...

I downloaded Fat Frog RPG from AOL downloads, bought the FULL version of the game (omg I know, why?!) and ended up asking Kumkwat how they made the game. It was because of them that I found the OHRRPGCE when I did (somewhere between 98-99 I believe).

You make a valid point, sir! Did you see this also? Quote: Also, I ran into a bug when I tried to exit out of the shop without buying anything. Review: Walthros

Way back in 2002, Paul Harrington, also known as Surlaw, released a game called Walthros. Most people associate newbie games with poorly executed games, but I am happy to say that Walthros breaks that chain. Those who think newbie games are always bad will be proven wrong by this game, despite its m...

Also, what did you guys think about the tutorial? Was it too long? I've thought about setting it up so the first few levels you learn how everything works while playing instead of having to read about it. I'm not sure whether I should do that or not though. If the tutorial seems fine as is, I'll pro...

Dude, this looks awesome. I really like the art style and the palette is nice too. Makes me want to work on the remake of my long lost OHR game as well.
