Sorry for the slow response. If you're confused by how vehicle walls work, this bug is relevant. Anyone who understands that bug knows more about vehicle walls than me. I'm interested in the shadow not appearing. I tried for a while but couldn't reproduce this. What is the map's layering mode (eg. &...

Wow, people have been requesting far more ambitious things than last time... I still want to be able to edit the values of a palette from within Custom even if people told me I was crazy for wanting that before. Like this one! Just joking. Actually I heard the same request from Giz recently; it's no...

Hi, welcome! I agree that the plotscripting tutorial is far too basic. There's no indication of what to read next. Well, this is a good next stop: http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/Slices_Tutorial . Slices let you accomplish many things. Cursed items currently aren't supported; you would have ...

Ideally people should end their playthrough by saving the game if possible and also provide the saved game, so that we can compare the resulting save files. There are other things that could go wrong, I suppose. For example, plotscripts that do things based on time in seconds instead of time in tick...

Script triggered by timers or anything else do take precedence over running scripts, but the order in which things that get triggered on the same tick is undocumented (I ought to write that own) and a potential cause of problems. It's generally dangerous to have any triggered script contain waits, o...

We had a brainstorming session in IRC and solved this: it was due to the behaviour when an attack (eg. healing item) is used out of battle, which is that way to enable permanent stat boosters. I added new general bitset as a workaround.
