Haha. Neo has been the author of numerous OHR utilities and helped James to document engine internals since at least 1999. I think he's the guy we're supposed to pester for alpha transparency You're thinking of Jay Tennant; he wrote the new graphics backend API and software rasterisation/blitting fu...

I've installed many new nether portals, leading to Oxford and NJ (starting from the spawn swamp portal) and leading to three portals at the MegaCastle (starting from the Gray Station). So sick of walking between those! Woz and I are also constructing a 3km long nether rail leading to his Nether Pala...

When you say "Age of Empires" which game are you talking about? I assumed of course you meant AOE1, but you mentioned it being on Steam; I only see AOE3 and AOE Online on Steam.

Also, you probably mean TF2, but if it were Team Fortress Classic I would give it a try!

Ouch, beaten by just one point! While I'm here I might as well say: great work! I love the dungeon exploration, and didn't think the character class and equipment options overwhelming. It does still have a slow start though, by which I mean the sizeable gap between the intro and when you actually st...

If you email me your corrupted .rpg file I will try to repair it. Corruption as a result of of the computer crashing when you are editing the game is likely to be minor. Actually I'm surprised that corruption can happen at all. What menu/editor were you in when the computer died?

I would only expect that gfx_directx bug to cause a shift of a pixel or two. Shortcuts for Undo and for moving the anchor position are documented in the F1 help page, naturally. One way to move the anchor position is to hold down Enter and press the arrow keys. So I'm curious: does every who's affli...

Oh, do you mean that the anchor shifts just a pixel or two? This sounds like a a related gfx_directx bug. Try moving the mouse cursor off the drawing area before switching tile/sprite. Does that prevent it from happening? How about using -gfx sdl? Also, is everyone aware that you can move the anchor...

As far as Nestalgia, how does being in a group actually work? do you actually have 1 person leading the caterpillar and the other guys just choosing their action in battle? Yes, exactly. Non-leader party members can also cast spells/use items out of battle, but pretty much nothing else (you used to...

1. When switching between tiles/sprites, the offset of your clone tool clone changes. Can't reproduce. Clone remembers both cursor position and cloned brush anchor point in both tile and sprite editors for me. More details? 2. GAME and CUSTOM both perform version updates on up-to-date files, which ...

That's not a design choice; Dungeonmen is simply unfinished. Harlock stated portraits will be in an update. Lots of bug fixes too I hope!

Wish I had that much sense. But always write down the coordinates of your chest. I've lost so many. I was pretty annoyed a while back when I died and lost a bunch of tools totalling about 180 levels of enchantments. Try it out sometime, after that I don't mind falling in lava anymore! Baconlabs stri...

I've been told I'm somewhat wrong about DDO, and the majority of dungeons are free to play. All the low level (first region) dungeons are free, and only at high levels are there lots of non-free ones.

Yes indeed it is Windows-only (Windows and Unix differ on how file deletion works). Which explains why James and I failed to notice it (and shows why you should never fail to report a bug!). Vikings throws the same error in Alectormancy too. I've worked out the cause, so there's no need to see your ...

They might be holding online video gaming events of which most of us are not aware of. Perhaps they even have Guilds in MMOrpgs that we don't know Slightly true actually. It's odd feeling for me to actually have played most of the games people are talking about! Can someone explain why realm of the...
