Exporting a whole map as bmp?

Question:Is it possible to export a whole map as one bmp-file?
I'd like to see the whole map (20x20 pixels for each tile).

And by the way, what is the .tilemap file that can be exported from the editor?

What tools/software do you use for game making? I started using gitlab for backup-ing my game and I began filling it with 'issues', all these things that still need to be done. It takes some time to add those, but in the end I hope to have a good overview on the progress. I plan on having lots of di...

Hello hello! :o The last days were busy, time for making games was rare. Not much progress. :( I looked at some sprites and noticed the colors of some sprites are not arranged according to the other sprites. So either palette swapping is difficult or I redo the sprites. I did neither, I'll just use ...

Yesterday I read about this contest, and decided that's what I need to finish a game. Soon this question came up: "Wich of the many unfinished ones on my hard drive can I finish in about two months?" Two months, where ReaLife is claiming it's share of time as well - no holidays. And also C...

This is a cool contest idea! :o I'm one day late, but I'll join. :) I just don't know which game I'm going to work on. There are many unfinished games. **Question**: Does it have to be an game made with the OHR-Editor? Does it have to be an RPG? I might try to programm something without the OHR-Edit...

Hey TMC. Thanks a lot for your help! :D Qhen I decided to write the script I was thinking about registries and bits, something like this: "Why are there no arrays?" And then I told myself that computers do not have arrays in first place, and one could program array-like-behavior. . . I sho...

Script-Problem: How do I create random menu items?

Good evening! I'd appriciate some help and hints how to write a plotscript that creates a menu. The menu items should be ordered randomly. I try to use globals to keep track of how much of the menu is filled, because there is no arrays. This is how far I got: global variable (0,random1_used&...

Hello, Thanks for your fast replies and help. :) I used the deb-files. I tried the work around, still it does show the same error on Mint. The binary tarball also gives error (on Mint). Maybe there's something wrong with the Mint OS? :???: But for Xubuntu the workaround works, and so does the binary...

plotscr.hsd not found

Hello! :) I guess, the problem is know. I found this page, after I wrote the text for the post: (http://rpg.hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/index.php?title=ERROR:_file_plotscr.hsd_not_found&action=edit&redlink=1) Anyhow, maybe this can be helpful. I failed to import/compile a plotscript in the ...

@kylekrack: I really like the style and, the fluffy background and the color choice of the picture. Especially the face is well done. :) The heavy jacket and the hat rather help to hide that's it's a woman on the picture. I'm not sure if it goes well with the intended style, but you might try to giv...

Ending a script

I was asking myself, what are the ways of ending a script? Is there a comand for endiing in the middle an if-clause so the rest of the else if's are ignored? Or just ending a whole script (,named script A, for example) and returning to the script that called script A and continue to execute some com...

Hello! Thanks for al the feedback and nice comments. :D I'm very happy the look „kawaii“, because that's what I intended them to look like. :D But, they are really small, so this time I added a larger sized one as well. These chars are "just" going to be average NPCs, so I wasn't to worrie...

NPC Graphic Sets - critic please

Hello, I am looking for impressions on these NPC Graphics I drew. I'm thinking about making an NPC Set Package and release it under cc license. But before doing so I'd like to hear some opinions, so I can improve the package and and fix mistakes. :) The "rules" I set up for making NPCs, is...
