The War on Christmas

Okay, going to go the notes style of review for this, since I'm lazy. - Very nice intro you have there. - This game starts off with you picking your four protagonists; of the four I went for [furry, nerd, goth, and hipster], the nerd ended up being the most useful for mowing down random battles and ...

linearquest II

Judging from Nathan Karr's review, this is almost the exact same game as Linear Quest I, but with some slimes added such that the game isn't rendered unwinnable if you choose the wrong things at the start. I don't think such an addition really required a new game, but that's not my place to argue. I...

I'm going to say there's... 5 hours of stuff in this? Even with a thing or two I wanted to add in never making it, there's still a fair amount of meat here. Anyway, have fun.

Festivus

Every year for the past 100 years, a massive, gaudy tower appears at the point of greatest commercial activity. You find yourself here, on the eve of Christmas Eve, in order to do the very last of your Christmas shopping. But great changes are about to occur, on the centennial of this tower's first ...

That's a lot of blood.

And yeah, those are some pretty sweet monsters you have there. Looking good.

A preview of places you haven't yet been to.

edit: and, largely unintentionally, it also marks up the big map for you!

Man, I really gotta get going with drawing/designing my enemies. Fen's graphics are really nice (and are reminding me to swap out some of the enemies I have planned with more christmasy ones).
Did get doors (two-way and one-way) set up in my game last night, which will be really useful going forward.

You can have up to three floor tile types (a base floor that will appear no matter what happens, plus two other floor types that can be drawn on a per-tile basis). There's two wall types as well, as well as NPCs (which you can use either as decoration or as some sort of odd third wall). I guess you ...

Working on my christmas game. Thank goodness that I found a program that could distort stuff without being a huge pain about it, or I don't know where I'd be.

Figuring out what exactly one area of the game is going to look like.

I know how I'm going to do what I'm doing... it's just that it'll be a good amount of drawing stuff between now and the due date.

"Verdi and Wyrd order Chinese" - Is this more than just an 'ironic' tradition of theirs? "Verdi wants to get drunk but Wyrd won't let her" - self-explanatory "It's the 23rd already?" - Verdi completely forgot to get gifts, and everywhere is closed! these are totally all...

Could you post the error message you're getting? Even if it's vague, letting us know what it is could help.

I'd be fully prepared to abuse the ability to attach scripts to attacks... but for now, even just the ability to change elements or attack damage based on variables (a Traveler-style ability, or skills that change up through things not easily tracked via tags, are things that immediately come to min...
