Kamel it is. I will develop my character in the next few days, but the real question is : Do I serve the Kingdom of Kamelot?

My word, some of those races are... Imaginative. I'm leaning towards a Kamel, because camel-men sound awesome.

Hey!

How's this look? I spent ages on it, I'm sure you can guess what my reference was :v:

I think it looks a lot better, and I will convert my other walkabouts to the same style now that I have a template.

Kind regards.

I'm tentatively interested. I play Vampire the Masquerade and formerly played "New" DnD, so I wouldn't mind jumping in. How often do you play, and are timezones an issue? Also, how stringent would you be on character concepts  I'm by no means a powergamer, and I wouldn't mind trying...

I have been working on similar architecture for my own game - columns, entablature, pediment etc. so I can't help but marvel at and admire the elegance of these beautiful, clean, delicious pixels.

Sounds good. I'm going for a more "gamey" platformer style approach to pickups - ie there are health and mana items placed around the maps that you simply run over to restore that particular stat. There are checks such that if you are already at full HP/MP the item is not "picked up&q...

[s]Follow up: Is there a way to restore FF1 MP slightly, but not over the cap for that level? Cheers.[/s] Edit: Nevermind! Figured it out: plotscript, Level1MPRestore, arg, npcref, begin #if your first slot of levelled mp is lower than it's maximum value then add 1 to that spell slot if (get...

Perhaps it's time to add CAPTCHA to member signup?

So much spam lately.. Perhaps a way of authenticating members would be a good idea?

Hi, You mentioned two arguments are sent ie the argument in the NPC definition and the NPC reference. Does the NPC reference have to be "npcref" or can I use any "name"? If I use "npcref" for this script and then "npcref" in another script will they affect eac...

Thanks for pointing that out! I might experiment with some different walkabouts tomorrow, but for now it is late and I need sleep (you are also from NZ, are you not TMC?).

Adios

Might I get some critique and tips on my walkabouts? I am very happy with my hero, enemy sprites but I'm still not sure on my walkabouts: http://imgur.com/a/ddgSn I can't decide whether to stick with these proportions or go with something a little more simplistic and readable, like big head style. I picked pyxeledit over Aseprite. Pyxel edit is good, but I think I should have gone to Aseprite because the support is better and it has more features.
