From this lofty angle, the city does seem to shrink. The taverns and inns might be busy with people escaping the rain, but none of that is visible. The market and temples might be full of secrets and plotting, but from here they look quiet and still. The castle with it's new queen might be full of d...

Yes, I do need to add both of those things. Script commands for reading/writing counterattacks, and a way to limit counterattack back-and-forth

Oops! yes, I was confused. I have gone back and edit the post The Yanorin slips out of its berth, and into the waterway between the many docks. It moves quickly towards the harbor, and the open water beyond. From his high perch, Hyne can see the city all around. he can see the castle to the east, t...

"read npc" documentation is pretty vague, but it links to <a href="http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/docs/plotdict.xml#about-alternpc">alter npc</a> which uses the same values, and explains them in more detail Anyway, what you want is: if&#40;read NPC&#40;NPC at spot &a...

Something I just thought of: will the Counter/Ctr stat become useful now? The hero counterattacks work just like the enemy counterattacks, and they don't use the counter stat. Hmmm... Although as soon as I add editor support for zzo38's new "Custom Aim Math" feature, it will become fairly...

Hero Counterattacks

Starting with tonight's nightly build, you will be able to give heroes counter-attacks:

Later I hope to add the ability to override these with equipment, and maybe override them by being hit with attacks, but that will have to wait for another day.

Go ahead and roll whatever way is most comfortable :) The clouds are thick and black, and swirl above, dropping gradually more and more rain. There is little to no fog or must underneath them. In the context of high winds, these clouds might look terrifying, but the wind is still not bad at all, so...

I don't understand the question. You are asking how you end the plotscript? Are you getting an error message when you try to compile/import the plotscript? If so, you can copy-paste the error message, or post a screenshot. You can also post the text of the script here, or if it is too long, put it u...

I don't want to make any promises, this has been a busy season for me, but I took a quick look at the code, and I think it will be relatively easy. There is already built-in support for ignoring heroes in the pathfinding code, it is just not exposed in the NPC pathfinding yet. I expect it will be a ...

I want to know what that wooden thing with the rope on it is. Is it a puzzle? A deadly puzzle? I got my gift a couple days ago. I think from the contents, it is likely that my Santa is Not-So-Secret ;) https://i.imgur.com/Q0ErU5ml.jpg I am quite happy with it! Thank you very much Top-Secret-Triangul...
