Hey guys we got almost no feedback on this issue in spite of it having some really damn cool things, so if someone could tell me their thoughts/answer the News section questions I'd really appreciate it. I thought it was a great issue. It is so packed with content that I actually haven't read it al...

This runs PAINFULLY slowly on my machine, and it isn't exactly out of date (2 ghz, 1 gig ram). Is there something I could tweak? Interesting. That is what I would expect to see happen if your video card did not support OpenGL acceleration. Do 3D accelerated games work on your computer? What kind of...

Bob Sidescroller DEMO
I recently uploaded <a href="http://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewgame.php?t=508">Bob the Hamster Sidescroller DEMO</a>. Indeed, part of my motive for the timing of the upload was my shameless desire for 10 more strength points, but that was not the only reason I uploaded it. I really am in...

I thought the EPS would cover that, can InkScape not read EPS? Nope, no EPS for InkScape. InkScape supports the following vector formats: svg svgz pdf ai wpg ggr dia outline xaml Also for the slimes, yes, I collect *all* slimes I see, so I do have a lot made by other people. By my rough count I thi...

No. Healing is intentionally limited to avoid long, drawn-out battles and/or stalemates. What about a health transfer where you can take away some of your health and give it to an ally? Or another possibility is a heal that has a side-effect of lowering your max HP (in battle only of course). Like ...

Bob the Hamster Sidescroller (DEMO)
This is a very work-in-progress demo of a Sidescroller featuring Bob the Hamster. All you can do right now is test out the jumping and digging physics. Please provide me with feedback on how this works. This is programmed in <a href="http://python.org">python</a>, using the <a href="h...

Old Bob the Hamster Side-Scroller
As a novelty, I ported some of my ancient QuickBasic code to FreeBasic. One such piece of code was an old unfinished prototype of a Bob the Hamster jump-and-run side scrolling game. You can move Bob around a single level, and interact with a few objects, although there are no enemies to fight. This ...
