What games does your Mom play?
Inspired by this thread, I thought it would be interesting to share what games your Mom, Dad, Auntie, Grandfather, or any other close-family-member-of-an-older-generation play. I know we are not all the same age here, but t...

Hey, if this is a good thread for complaining about stuff, NAME CHANGES DRIVE ME CRAZY! Avatar changes are okay. That is all good fun, like trying on a new silly hat... But when somebody changes their nickname, it is like they have thrown away the key which my brain used to unlock their entire IDENT...

Your Mom plays MMORPGs?Rock & Roll Sentai wrote:Because Runescape is awful. I played it forever ago, then got sick of it when my mom played it almost non-stop for six months.
It's basically the reason I hate MMORPGs.
Tell her I said she is awesome.
My Mom plays "Spider Solitaire" and "LBreakout" :)

Re: OHR Confessional
That blending feature needs to be enabled by default. That'll go a long ways towards improving the presentation of most OHR games. I'm pretty sure that Surlaw promised to flay me with a dull knife if I ever did that. (or something like that. My memory is rusty ;) Actually, I keep forgetting about t...

- I wish the programmers would DOCUMENT new features and explain how to use them, especially when they aren't obvious to non-programmers. Try tomorrow's nightly builds. I am working on adding F1 help screens to every darn menu. -I never would've given the OHR a chance if I'd seen this http://hamste...

xocolatl+2 stable release (xocolatl just got even stabler!)
So we were having SO much fun with cool new features for the ypsiliform release, that we decided it was going to take too long to stabilize, so we backported a bunch of important bugfixes to xocolatl, and are re-releasing it today as xocolatl+2. Check the <a href="http://gilgamesh.hamsterrepubl...

Fishing for Str? Speaking of which, there's gotta be some way to get stat rewards for making updates to non-new games. How else will I ever get back to work on Wandering Hamster? ;) And also, FFH2 reminds me that built-in support for job-changes has always been a big weakness of the OHRRPGCE. Job c...
