Slice Test Case RPG Files

This zip contains a pair of slice test case RPG files that TMC and I have been using to test new slice features. Now, whether "publicly agreed" means a complete consensus or just a majority decision would be a question actually worth asking. Hmmm. I guess I should have clarified that. I think we will have a large enough pool of voters that a simple majority vote on completeness will be fine. Does an...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3-yn2nbvyc&feature=channel_page Must finish "DammitimmaD" Aha! Our first non-ohrrpgce entrant. Welcome, Bezzy! Since DammitimmaD appears to be a storyless action game and not an RPG, it would help a lot if you could explain your plans for this game. For...

Both of these phrases send a chill of horrible recognition down my spine, but google fails me when I try to find what dread memes the monikers are attached to.

Yes, all those steps are possible. You want a script something like this: plotscript, battle wrapper, formation, begin variable(hero, map music) map music := current song hero := hero by rank(0) switch(hero) do( case(her...

So, I'm thinking about remaking/completing my very first game, Wendel's Quest for the Sacred Stones. Since it did exist as a demo in the past (although it seems that nobody that is around these days downloaded from back then), would it be okay if I did that? Please let me know so that I may begin p...

Okay. I'll list you for those too. Are there any other entries I have missed? Also, I hope nobody gets offended by my stretching the rules to allow Bloodlust to be voted upon. Re-posting from CastleParadox: ------------------ Well, the 64% version was released around January of 2008, and the 100% ve...

Msw is right on the money here. Personally, I like you use a variable for this kind of thing. variable(hp) hp := get hero stat(hero by rank(0), stat:HP, maximum stat) hp += 50 set hero stat (hero by rank(0), stat...

I would suggest that if you want to enter a game that hasn't be released yet, you have a choice of: (1) Release a demo immediately, finish it for the contest (2) Don't release a demo. You can still compete in category 1 and 3, but not category 2 "Most Improved" Either way you prefer is oka...

Time Travel Fixed! Yes, I meant September 1st. Time travel and the associated causal paradoxes are never a good thing for a contest. Part of what motivated me to start this contest was the hopes of maybe motivating some people to finish their awesome contest entries, so definitely don't feel bad abo...
