That was so cool! Spoonweaver, what were the rules you were researching? Judging by the amount of damage Ehaism did there it looks like you went with a something closer to a multiplicative theory of weight x distance instead of an additive one... but it was obviously not 70d6, so I am curious what t...

Ehaism feels dazed, yet elated. That hurt a hell of a lot, but now this small man who Ehaism can't quite identify (he does look a little like that annoying wizard) is healing him with a magic stick. Ehaism decides that he likes the tiny maybe wizard guy. Oh! What is this!? The wizard guy is getting ...

Being able to do graphics fast is important. I think that is one of the reasons we tend to get a lot of great stuff out of our 8-bit contests.

"Gosh dang it spoonweaver! (James, says, a little miffed that everybody was staring at him) He wasn't being lazy! With you and sdhawk carrying both psyshields and both repair kits, you can fix the life support in safety!"

I breathe, nervously.

Suddenly Ehaism is starting to feel insanely confident.

Jumping down into that pit feels like a great idea.

Ehaism is going to try to land directly on the beast's big squishy head. That will teach it to try and eat... that guy.

Ehaism sees the monster below, he readies himself to fight, but how can he get down!?

Ehaism looks wildly at Vire. Vire will know what to do. Vire is smart!

Here is one that works for any string: script, string is uppercase, strnum, begin variable(i, ch, letters, upper) for(i, 1, string length(strnum)) do( ch := ascii from string(strnum, i) if(ch >= 65 && ch ...

Maybe I am misremembering, but I thought this was fixed already. Are you using the nightly builds or ypsiliform?

Got it! Thanks Mogri. Although, interestingly, my "add hero ()" command needed to reference the hero number, not the hero name. This is contrary to what it says in the plotscripting dictionary on the wiki. The hero name is just an alternate way of writing the hero ID number. Did you get a...

you are wrong, I can't even begin to guess where 70d6 even came from. Oh! Haha! I figured 8d6 for a 2000 pound object multiplied by 1d6 for each 10 feet past the first 10 feet... which was silly because <a href="http://www.d20srd.org/srd/environment.htm#falling">the page I was reading</a>...

The gold is not a soft surface. The monster looks kinda soft though. And better to attack your first round than simply take damage. It's just too bad you cant do something like power up your jump attack and squish it completely. Like Mario! Starving to death in the bottom of that pit with Cile woul...

It would be cool if running from a random enemy formation could preserve the state of that formation, so if you ran into them again later they would still have the damage that you had dealt to them in the previous round. That would actually be reasonably scriptable in the OHR right now, although you...

And, no it is not too late for the Fangame contest. I know I haven't started mine yet :)
