I finished the draft of my novel this morning! It clocks in at just over 62000 words, and I am quite happy with the shape it is in. Now to read the whole thing from beginning to end. And figure out a title. Gotta do that. It has come too far to be named "Untitled Novel" 100% of it was type...

Other possible modes of celebration:

* Posting photos of ourselves baking things that wouldn't survive being mailed to New Zealand
* Adding secret shrines to TMC to hidden areas in our RPGs
* Taking a long walk and not thinking about games at all, in his honor
* Cake!

I was able to reproduce success twice.

Both times were on a 64 bit wandering hamster apk on an Android 8.0 phone.

I went with weeks instead of months because I'll almost certainly need to do the release on a weekend. Those goals sound great :D "Gorgonzola" sounds great to me. It doesn't feel obscure to me, but after consideration, I think that was because when I was a teen I really loved the Monty Pyt...

A bit off-topic, but this reminds me, a feature to swap heroes in the middle of battle could open up some fun possibilities, and maybe might be easier to implement than increasing active party size
