Okay, I just implemented the fix you suggested TMC, and tested it--- well, I couldn't reproduce the bug before, so I just tested that I didn't break the build and didn't break it on any of the phones that i tested on, but *hopefully* this will fix things for people who did see the problem.

Ah, no, I haven't checked that (and haven't rooted my phone) but that does give me confidence in your idea for the workaround :D

My concern is that I don't see evidence that the libsdl-settings.cfg config file ever exists, even when things are working fine, even in older apk files long before this bug appeared. I don't think that file gets written period (EDIT: based on what I remember from a few months ago, which can be fall...

Is it okay to play the new demo with the saved game from the previous demo? Will I miss anything important?

The good thing about this framework we're using is that it can predict without ambiguity if something is going to be ambiguos. It takes care of the known unknowns, the unknown unknowns and allows people and fish to coexist. Mermaids? Okay, I'll trust y'all on this one if it means mermaids ;) Be car...

I like the iif(condition, trueval, falseval) syntax for ternerys I am wary of making parentheses optional. Is it a big benefit? I regret many of the optional vaguenesses already in hamsterspeak Be careful with ,and, it is not the same as && ,and, is bitwise && Is logical The same wit...

I think there is no functional difference between saving a whole path, and saving the X,Y of the old destination plus the X,Y of the point where you deviated from the old path.

You could resume the old path by pathfinding back to the deviation point, then pathfinding to the original destination

That is a great interface! I like the idea of having the paths saved with each NPC or hero. I had been thinking of something like a path handle, but that is a bit clumsy, and I think just attaching one scriptable path to each instance is much better

@ArtimusBena: pathfinding specifically for pixel walking? Or some new pathfinding feature to be added to the existing tile-based A-star pathfinding? @Kylekrack: so here is my idea, a way to tap into the tile based pathfinding but smooth out the corners. Suppose I added a script command to calculate ...

I haven't had a chance to check the scripts, but I just played the demo on my phone, and I am impressed! It works really smoothly, and feels nice. You got me thinking about how pathfinding might work with pixel movement, and I have some ideas. Nothing is possible without adding some more plotscripti...

This weekend I posted a "Job" for a cover art commission on deviantart, and was pleased by how many serious and profession artists responded. I dug through all the sample galleries, and narrowed them down to a "Top 5" and then e-mailed my favorite with a description of what I was...
