Lady Kari smiles warmly when she sees Arcadia. As she gives Arcadia her 5 gold, she says "I am so happy that there is someone on the team who has healing skills." and then a little more soberly she adds, "next time, the victims won't be made of wax." If Kari's smile had been warm...

Even 50 looks scary! I guess I'll just start a global variable stockpile in a separate . hss and include it in the main .hss, and briefly comment each one in case I can't remember what they're for. So I take it you don't need to declare globals in order? You can declare 1-25, then 50-100, then 200-...

"Nobody is friendlier than the Guild of Executioners" says Lady Kari, "...but I understand their name and their history is off-putting. I will talk to the Mayor about arranging some extra security for the bucket, I am sure she will be able to provide something."

Yes, it would.

I am still not understanding why you can't just use:

Code: Select all

write pass block (118, 64, 0)
to remove a wall?

You will only be making things worse by trying to re-use globals like that. Just have a big list of globals at the top of your script file, they aren't really hard to keep track of. Every script I write has a big block like this at the top: global variable(0, recursion) global variab...

Kari thinks about Normin's question "The bucket isn't common knowledge... yet"

"If you decide you need extra help keeping it safe, perhaps you can seek help from The Executioner's Guild or from the University of Bakak leadership"

Normin is the first to follow Lady Kari upstairs. They sit at the table. "Provincial gave me a good report of your work today. You all improvised well, and worked together, making the best of what resources you had." She takes out a single large key with a small card tied to it. The card h...

Wait, is Evangeline at the Unlucky Thrush or not Is she caught in some sort of limbo She can be wherever you want her to be. She could have gone to the Unlucky Thrush, gone home, gone shopping, gone to the Caravan Depot to buy a ticket out of town *Most* of the time I'll try to avoid mentioning the...

I just wanted to remind everybody that at times like this when the party is split up or in transit, if you want to have your character do something without the other players seeing it, and spoiler tags aren't secret enough, you can send me PM's

In response to Kailyn's questions, Ms Zest giggles and says "Oh, you old flirt! What would my husbands say about you?" But she does not actually answer the question. Normin and Petrol and Arcadia and Cece plan a pamphlet study session later on, but first they report to the Unlucky Thrush t...

Kailyn goes directly to the Unlucky Thrush to get the party started. Ms Zest seems very happy to see him, and starts the ale flowing. Lady Kari isn't there at the moment, but Ms Zest says she will be back around lunch time. Others follow when they are ready You don't all have to go to the party, eac...

I just had an idea. Can I use an int check to help teach others the create water spells to speed up the learning? That is actually a good idea. Here is what I will allow. If you and other players study the pamphlets together, they get to add your INT bonus to theirs. So with your help, players with...
