The King's wagon slows, and stops for a moment. The rest of the procession stops behind The three exhausted guards seem embarrased about the state of the King's wagon, and they set to tidying it before proceeding. Most of the flowers that had been piled on the wagon yesterday had been blown off by t...

You are brave for jumping in and trying to learn, I salute you! :)

The ohrrpgce is an unusually messy and strange codebase, so learning here is a little bit like learning to swim by jumping in the deep end of the pool.

We'll try to help keep your head above water ;)

The forest opens out into pastureland around the capitol, with herds of grazing cows, and more farmhouses. The smell of salt air grows strong as the sun gets lower in the sky. The road finally catches up with the big river, and goes along its east bank, northward towards the capitol. There are talle...

Re: changing bits of CUSTOM

How difficult would it be to create a keybind (for example: that would drop me back to the main menu from wherever I am in CUSTOM)? I believe the closest thing to that which currently exists is ALT+F4 No matter where you are, it takes you back to the quit/save menu, which is just one step more than...

Are you complaining about not seeing the info string? or complaining about the empty screen space?

I had been thinking about making the item editor browse screen show multiple columns.

The commander of the soldiers salutes as he passes the King's body. The soldier's behind him repeat the gesture like a wave as they pass, but they do not slow down. "Reinforcements!" declares Lady Goduvna. "They'll put down those nasty Jenn. Plucksley feels so much better! Don't you I...

Oh, yeah, that makes sense. Globally pausing all slice movement would prevent us for using slice movement for converting existing built-in movement features to become slice-based I wonder if it would be worthwhile to add a bit to slices to indicate how they were created It could be something like &q...

The important part about scripting something to stop the song playing is that you will need to use the functions that check the system clock, rather than relying on counting a specific number of ticks.

I think the trickiest part of shop stuff sorting would be that we also have to sort the shop stuff stock data in saved games... Or sort in a display-only way that does not change internal indexes So basically the same problem that faces all lists of data in the ohrrpgce. We need some kind of display...

Try the hspeak.exe from the Callipygous stable release. That should be fully compatible, and does not have the recent nightly changes I would still like to figure out why the new version is breaking. Can you post: * The full path name where your rpg file is located * The full path name where your ni...

Opps! I am behind the times! :)

I had not even tried out the F9 menu yet, it is great!

I just added a note about compiling with F9 to the bottom of the screen when you are in the "Script Management" menu.

Whatever is happening outside Bovo Township is hidden behind the ridge of the hill. When she sees Hyne catching up, the coachwoman slows to wait for him to come aboard, and gives him a wordless look of respect and admiration. The road switchbacks gently down the long slope towards the capital. The c...
