I have started a stealthy advertising campaign for Slime Salad. As part of the advertising push, I've also created a more newbie-friendly front page.

You can see the new ads at Thinkin' Lincoln. It was just linked to by Dinosaur Comics, so its page views tripled overnight. Result: profit!

Been working on Timpoline. - Reduced the difficulty of certain levels, notably level 17 (Island Hopping) and 7 (Fetch Quest II). These levels are way out of depth. - Fixed the slope physics. Graarragh. I didn't realize how much the frustration of level 25 depended on you being unable to correctly wa...

So, no episodic games, like SpyJim? (Yes I realize this line was in the original as well but I didn't catch it the first time around)

Re: The length of your post

Could you maybe possibly sum up the EMC in 200 words or less? It would be GREATLY appreciated.

Unlikely, but who knows? I'm up to $0.04 now. This is more than I'd hoped to make in two days.

$0.02 x 30 = $0.60

There are already ads now. I inserted them, ninja-like, at the bottom of the main forum page. We have our first advertiser, though he's advertising for free right now.

Well, it's not so much an issue of paying for the webspace (I've always done that and will continue to do so) as it is a means of paying for external advertising. It's also a means of advertising in and of itself, since potential advertisers will have the opportunity to look into the site. I could a...

The Slime Salad Statesman, 18 Sept 2008

New on the front page: See the five most-recently-edited games! Remember, you had this option before with the convenient gamelist dropdown available on most pages. Also new on the front page: An About page! Hopefully confused visitors will have a better idea what's up now. Coming soon: I'm consider...

I'll third or fourth the Notepad++ suggestion. It's especially great for editing code of any type, even Hamsterspeak.

Just so you know, there's no such thing as "adding a console" -- the list automatically separates them by console with headers and everything. But I do need to know the platform for the game because I am an ignorant fool sometimes
