Caldon performs a cursory check for new injuries on the woman before calling up to Sharn. "I'm all right. I'm going to take her to safety. Keep going!" He takes her and continues to the exit.

I can add mobile input support, too, but I don't want to support variable viewports. I might be able to throw something together there -- autoscale the game -- but it wouldn't be pretty.

Are you using the mouse? You should be using the keyboard. Any event-firing button (i.e. not ctrl, shift, or alt) will work. That said, mouse support is trivial to add, and I should do that, too. guo: If I had another button, boosting and braking would be a shoo-in, but I'm not sure how I'd cram any...

I've got a first level. Give it a try , then read on. The mechanics are 100% finished, although the tutorial level doesn't explain everything -- for example, you can hover longer by tapping rather than holding. You can also jump in midair after coasting off a ledge, although you can only really expl...

Caldon rushes in to examine the body. If it doesn't appear to have injuries that would be aggravated by rough handling, he'll toss her over his shoulder before heading down the other end of the floor; otherwise, he'll enlist might-be-Sharn to perform a two-man carry.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. It's a profile setting, but nobody uses that setting. I'll just remove the setting and default to disable HTML.

One Button Jam

In the vein of the Littlest Game Contest we held some time ago, here's the One Button Jam , hosted by itch.io. You have two weeks to make a game. The only rule is that the sole input is a single button. You can interpret that button in interesting ways: holding down the button, double-tapping, doubl...

Caldon makes a snap judgment call. Both groups of voices need investigation, but he will check out the west group before the east group. He moves as quickly as he can while still examining his footing to make sure the floorboards are in good shape.

For all your rotoscoping needs, it's Paint of Persia!

I'm not sure I could see myself ever using this, but I do love the art style.

On the third floor, Caldon sees a barrier . The next flight of stairs that leads to the 4th floor is blocked off at the landing with a rope and an overturned chair. There is a hand-painted sign that says: "DANGEROUS" Nobody seems to be visible on this floor, but he can hear distant voices...

Caldon is perplexed by the dwelf, but whatever the problem is, it's solidly outside his job description, and the lives of those trapped in the fire are almost certainly more pressing. He leverages the handrails to bound over the dwelf, continuing on his way.

DM wrote:Does Caldon go for the front door, the west side door, or does he search for another entrance?
Caldon goes through the nearest door (presumably the front door).

Caldon wastes no time in making his way to the fourth floor, where he will sweep for bodies (conscious and unconscious) before heading to the fifth.

"Open up! It's the fire squad." Caldon then asks the bystanders for more information regarding the fire.
