There is a button in pec ("psx emulation cheater," just so we're on the same page) clearly labeled "Send cheats to plugin." It is also the first option in the File menu. There is no button labeled "Activate." I don't know what you're doing. There is no need to convert t...

I did. PEC just doesn't seem like it wants to work for me. I've tried several things. Followed the directions you have completely. I can get debug to work in psx but that's not really helpful since that thing doesn't use .gme memcard files. I'm starting to think it might be a personal thing that ha...

ok so after lots of work. argh. I've figured out how to set up battles. but each one seems to take me over an hour to set up and thats not including the times when something is wrong and I have to start over COMPLETELY. This is because I can't get PEC to work on ePSXe, and I can't get FFTastic to w...

I'm pretty sure that they'll trigger their own Monster Skill unless you do some assembly hacks. The LFT patch tried to do exactly what you're talking about and ran into problems.

(psst my team could totally take a Tiamat)

FFT Versus Mode FAQ

I've answered these questions a few times now, so here it is in tutorial form. Here is the debug menu code: D0198090 0000 80198090 0006 See the Debug Menu FAQ on GameFAQs for details on how to use the debug menu. The short version is that you just need to select the default option when you open your...

I wish that we had more than 5 points -- even 6 would be enough. As it stands, having a single tier 3 monster or two tier 2 monsters means you'll lose a slot. With the current format, here's how my team will look: - Blinky (Ghoul) - Pinky (Ghoul) - Inky (Ghoul) - Clyde (Ahriman) If we're including M...

You can't have more than four to a team on debug mode.

(edit) The Morbol family is not as good as you're suggesting. (See: Uncommon's last team.)

Finals: Spoonweaver vs. Mogri Thrilling conclusion to an excellent tournament. Three separate battles! Since we both had two lives left, it was best two out of three. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/QdOSm7rM_y8&...

Spoonweaver vs. JSH In an attempt at reconciling JSH's borked character (whom I tried redoing to see if that changed anything -- it didn't), I ran this battle twice to give his team the benefit of the doubt. The battles speak for themselves... <object width="425" height="344"><p...

This. This hasn't been the most lively thread lately. It's an on-and-off thread.

It's more a problem of the format than with your team specifically. I knew there was potential for this going into the tournament, which is why I had all the battles on maximum frameskip. (In retrospect, I prefer it this way.)

I don't think I'm going to be reffing another tournament in this format for awhile. Those hour-long battles really take it out of you.

Anyway, does someone want to propose a ruleset for tournament 4? It sounded like JSH had something in mind, but maybe someone else has an idea too.
