Transformers 3 is for making fun of with your friends

I don't see many movies, but a $5.50 theater was showing this tonight and a couple friends and I went. I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone here, but this movie was atrocious. Almost certainly the worst movie I've ever seen. A few of the background ideas and plot twists could have been worthwhile, but ...

I'm usually down for any given evening after 9pm EST (although not tonight), and/or weekends.

Are we saying that we want to stick to the East Coast? If so, then in about a year I might be able to host a casual one of this. If I get the job I'm looking at, I'd be in northern VA, close enough to DC or Richmond if we want to go hang out in a city. Alternatively, if this is within a day's drive ...

This would probably be interesting, but money's tight for a lot of people right now, I'm guessing. But I'm definitely interested in the idea, and if I get the new job I'm thinking about, I'd have the money to travel wherever. I have no idea where would be good though.

So I forgot to mention that when I played Okedoke, but yeah it was definitely frustrating to accidentally use healing supplies on enemies. And I must admit I never even thought to use left/right for targetting. Can one of the developers explain how the arrow keys work for targetting? Up/down seems t...

I use Anvil Studio, and even though I wouldn't call it a "good" program, I haven't found anything better for creating midi's for free. I'm not sure such a program could exist, honestly. Music is too multi-dimensional, and too timing-dependant. What kind of user interface (besides a direct ...

There's a set of friend codes on one of the threads here somewhere, if some newcomers want to jump on board and get a frying pan to the face (or farted to death) (or forced to eat 2-dimensional black bacon straight out of the frying pan).

Then it doesn't have to phrased in that manner. Imagine: Hi, I'm Bob the Hamster! If you enjoyed my game (or even if you didn't), there are lots and lots of other games that have been made using the OHRRPGCE that you should try. Here are just a few: blah blah - Our good community at Slime Salad vote...

The videos seem to be broken...? Speaking of Brawl though, we should get the crew back together and play some more matches sometime.

Okay, there are lots of interesting responses in here, and more to come maybe. Here are some of my thoughts on a couple: The ohr is 99% about the community, and new comers getting a taste all of the community's different games by playing the flagship game seems like it works. This may be true now, b...

My possibly unpopular call for discussion

Okay, here goes nothing. Let me start this off by admitting right away that I've NEVER PLAYED WANDERING HAMSTER, and I only just played Vikings of Midgard for the first time. Anyone who read my review in the last Hamsterspeak knows my basic opinions about VoM as a game, but that's not really what th...

Wait a sec, where are we discussing possible articles for a "Best Of" special release? I hate to be the whiner on this, but I don't believe many people would be enthused to have to go back and open all those issues to remember what articles there have been. I know this job would probably s...

It's kind of annoying to get criticized for stuff that already ended up getting fixed. I can definitely see this. I guess I just need to totally let go of treating these reviews like votes for the now long since past contest. Also, I liked your game. Go easy on the graphical flaws, alright? Haha, I...

I have a version from New Years Eve. I had originally intended to review all the games as they were at the Heart deadline so that I could write a final article discussing all the games from the contest's standpoint. However, I forgot to download anything 'past' (as in earlier in the wiki listing, si...

Yes I'm doing all the HOHR entries, and I'm playing Okedoke now. I decided to do them backwards as they were listed on the wiki (I don't remember if I had a reason for this or not), so Motrya's next. Oh, except I skipped my own Tales 2, naturally, but I think I'll do some kind of commentary on it af...
