I'll admit I haven't thought about this very deeply, but I just wanted to throw it out there to JSH, and see if he or anyone else has any input. What would it be like to make votes' points depend on how many games the user voted for? (has this been discussed before? I don't read the voting threads t...

After finishing reading this issue, I'm actually pretty happy with the reviews and retrospectives, but I agree that the Tower review needed an author's proofread at least to get rid of the run on sentences they were pretty common, commas don't solve the problem. And I didn't have an opinion on this ...

A quick reply before bed to: The reviews were okay, though I feel like I keep reading and rereading the same comments over and over (this goes for the last few issues, as well). I've felt like this every now and again while doing my Heart of the OHR reviews, but I don't intend on changing my approac...

Did it say anywhere that the LH songs were actually Smashing Pumpkins songs? I'm pretty sure it's not in the Readme. Actually that's kind of funny; I've always complained about the Smashing Pumpkins being boring and unmemorable, and here I didn't even recognize their stuff. And anyway, my standards ...

Cool. I honestly didn't think of Nightcrawler being a thief; that's a cool idea, even though Gambit's the 'actual' thief, haha. And I don't know if I understand the difference between an 'archer' and a 'lancer' when equipment is not involved. Will Wolverine have an auto-regen in battle? Maybe even e...

Reviving this mofo of a thread, because I watched the new guy last night finally, and I just want to mention a few things on a scale and then the discussions will roll: AWESOME - Helena Bonham Carter as Hermione pretending to be Bellatrix. Absolutely amazing, maybe my favorite bit of acting in all t...

By "default input", I mean, what happens when you click the mouse on the ledger? How does the program know precisely where you are trying to input a note? And how does it know what to do with the other notes already there? Are you trying to insert a note and get the notes already there to ...

I use it, and I think it's about as good as you're gonna get for writing MIDI music for free. Actually, I've brought this up before; I don't think it's possible to have a "good" music writing interface. There are too many dimensions to consider at once, and any possible form of default inp...

I agree that hard-coded caps (or hard-coded anything that creates case-by-case differences in the gameplay of a game) takes away from immersion. I really like the idea presented here; this is bacially what fairy water did in Dragon Warrior, and what Holy Water does in my Tales of the New World 2, bu...

Man it's crazy seeing this and thinking back to those cartoons and comics. I sort of vaguely remembered Nightcrawler using a rapier or something, but I didn't reply before because I really wasn't sure. If it doesn't lead to spoilers, I'd be interested in hearing your reasons for choosing the six her...

I just started Legendary Heroes the other day. I will be writing a review for Hamsterspeak this month, but I'll also send you my notes privately. I'm not really far enough into the game yet to give much to you now, except that I am enjoying the game so far (I'm about to leave the 2nd town).

Good day gentlemen. Some Brawl this evening then, mayhaps? I believe most of us had each other as friends from before.

Haha, I can't believe you included Nathan's comment about Aragorn being the 2nd. Lots of reviews! The consistent quality of these has been one of the greatest things about this magazine, in my opinion. The Shade retrospective was also very interesting. Stupid Battle Gimmicks #4 is my favorite SBG in...

I have a feeling I'm going to regret this. SPOILERS This was the only Transformer movie I've seen. And I'm gonna come right out and make a claim - the action is not that great. The final 'battle' feels like it lasts forever, and so little of it feels like it matters! I was actually somewhat excited ...

My guess is that it will only end up being a few of us hanging out. I've never been to a Con of any sort either (what's MAGCon?), but if it's not expensive it could be fun I guess...?
