I'm 80% done. Making an Elan Psion (Seer). I never looked at Psions before, and oh my god why didn't I? They're kind of underpowered, but so awesome, and everything I always wished Sorcerers would be. I like that I can only get one attack power (psionic energy ray), and thus get all kinds of nifty d...

I agree. Let's get something done, and polish the hell out of it, Blizzard style.

That'd be a good way to do the reveal, actually. I'm slightly "eh" on using Ammo as MP, because then the whole cast needs guns, or at least everyone with "spells". Another idea is that you literally buy ammo, and attacks use it but I'm not a huge fan of that idea either, especial...

Battle System

Okay. I finished watching Full Metal Alchemist, and given up playing Starcraft (we'll see how long that lasts, though). Let's get productive. As always, I'm posting a bunch of info to get the ball rolling. If you have ideas, or think my ideas are lame, feel free to chip in. Using a weapon or armor o...

@ Momo: Setting: I'm thinking of a cityscape adventure. I'm planning to have the heroes be poor villages struggling to get by due to the tyranny of the evil king. The villians would play characters of royal blood. Neato. There's a DnD book called Cityscape, isn't there? Should I look for that, or d...

As to where to find these, I haven't a clue http://www.d20srd.org/ The Public Domain system reference documents, in a nice format http://www.crystalkeep.com/d20/index.php PDFs with summaries of most of the non-core stuff. I'm sure it's not too hard to find 3rd ed in a games shop. I think the exalte...

I think once the ball gets rolling, it'll be easier for all of us to get into this.

I lost the connector cable to my MIDI keyboard, though. I mad. >:(

I reject your first suggestion (I don't wanna make Thugs too stupid, and that accent would get tedious after a while), but accept the other two. If we ditch Thugs early in the game, I'll rewrite his dialouge to make it dumber. Is the Jet Pack thing too Deus Ex Machina, or can we get away with it bec...

I'd like to see those maptiles you've been working on, if it ain't that bad >:( Okay, more! Straight from my brain to your screen. I just want this goddamn scene done. I'll fix the dialouge later. Thugs: Why would anyone want a steam powered man? Sherry: I can think of a few reasons... Jesse: I thou...

I'm not particularly attached to it, though. I've kind of fallen off the OHR wagon thanks to Starcraft, but I'm determined to write something for the collab tonight.

You can also feel free to yell at me for my complete lack of any progress on anything. The East Coast has gotten hit with two consecutive heatwaves, so I'm extremely lathargic :zombie:

I would. While typos would hopefully be corrected when the dialouge was turned into text boxes, it's useful to catch them here.
